Though the real changes are not visible, you can feel them immediately when you start using Firefly 2+. The manufacturer has also improved the heating control, so that Firefly 2+ works better – both with a full and only partially filled chamber (previously it had to be full, but not compressed), heats the CBD more evenly and it’s generally easier to use. The result is even better than in the second generation of Firefly, which was one of the fastest-heating vaporizers. This allows the vaporizer to be turned on, warmed up and inhaled at a time when most other vaporizers won’t even have time to warm up! Thanks to such a fast heating up, Firefly 2+ is the so-called on-demand vaporizer, ideal for quick inhalations. The fast heating up time also means a huge saving of herbs, as they are heated only when you inhale. It also allows you to interrupt the session at any time and finish it later, which is extremely convenient. The purest vapor taste available The taste of the vapor produced is – as in the previous generation – almost otherworldly. You can change the temperature settings through a smartphone app, which also shows the current battery status, and offers the option to calibrate the coil (the user can adjust the time when it reaches its maximum temperature). Better battery life; The biggest disadvantage of the first Firefly was the short-holding battery and this was the problem that received a lot of attention in the second generation. The Firefly 2 battery allowed for more than twice as long vaporization on a single charge, which was a huge difference. Firefly 2+ uses the same battery as the second generation, but thanks to a firmware update, it allows for much longer vaporization on a single charge – in our tests it allowed for the use of an average of 6 chamber fillings.
